Sir Goat
"And what shall be your choice of poison tonight, my dear?"
Biography
"Deliver me your sins."
Name: Vin "Goat" Cruxifer
Preferred Name: Sir Goat / Vin
Gender: Male
Pronouns: He/him
Orientation: Straight
Relationship status: Married to Lil Lamb
Race: Omnifarious Halfling
Moral alignment: Chaotic neutral
Occupation: Co-owner, Bartender & Security@Blasphemy
Age: Though unknown, his physical appearance is that of a male in his mid-twenties regardless of the appearance he takes on.Abilities: Vin is able to harness the aether that resides within himself which allows him to shift into anything and everything he desires - taking on not only the appearances but also the appropriate abilities and weaknesses that creatures possess as he shifts into them. Despite this, Vin tends to play favourites and usually shifts into an Au Ra of clan Xaela - purely for vain reasons. Unlike the ancient creatures who are able to shape-shift without limit, Vin’s overall abilities are limited to his own aether as well as his endurance and stamina. In addition, regardless of what he chooses to shape-shift into, Vin cannot cover the hole where his left eye is meant to be. As such, his most prominent feature is the black bandana that covers his lack of a left eye to avoid drawing unwanted attention.Appearance: When in his original form, Vin fails to appear human due to the partially decaying skin that covers his body (namely his left eye) thus giving others the impression that he is of the undead – though this is certainly not the case. He is only ever in his original form in private and in the sole company of his partner. When working at Blasphemy, Vin is usually found in his Au Ra form either wearing an open black trench coat paired with black leather pants and shoes or for more formal occasions, a black suit.
Personality: His personality, attitude and behaviour towards people and events do not change in accordance to his appearance. Whilst he does not trust easily, he is fairly sensible and caring once a person gets to know him. Otherwise, he may seem the type to simply stand by and go about with his own business for he is not one to normally start a conversation nor meddle with another person’s business unless he has reason to do so or if his interest is piqued. He is patient and understanding, though he can also be blunt and harsh when it comes to. He is also quite protective and slightly possessive of those whom he considers close to him – hating the mere thought of losing the ones who had somehow gotten close to him. Even so, Vin is not one for violence and would rather resort to peaceful negotiation with a drink in hand rather than rash actions.Likes: Honesty, originality, interesting conversations, tea, the Lifestyle, teasing/flirting, giving headpats, karmaDislikes: Idiots, manipulation, liars, chameleon-like personalities, arrogance, rudeness, boredomHistory: No written records hold of the Omnifarious Halflings for they were considered abominations amongst the purebred. To the ancient creatures, Omnifarious may only mate with another Omnifarious. To mate with a human or any other species was considered taboo and death was the only suitable punishment.Born to a purebred Omnifarious father and an Omnifarious Halfling mother in secret from the community in which they lived in, Vin never grew to know his mother due to her untimely death days after he was born. According to his father, Vin’s mother had been murdered and dismembered. This threw Vin into a fit of silent, growing rage during his early years which had only been sated by the death of those responsible for his mother’s death – two authority figures of the community and his own father. In turn, Vin was forced to leave the small house in the outskirts of Norvrandt that his parents once called their home.Following the incident in his hometown, Vin's whereabouts and antics involved numerous amounts of mercenary work that would keep him fed and clothed for years. However, it was not until 3 years prior that his life would forever change. During one of his mercenary jobs, Vin - along with a number of other mercenaries - was ordered by Vaughtry to exterminate sin eaters that had begun to appear around The Derelicts in an attempt to appease the public. Upon arriving at the shanty town, surprise met Vin as only one sin eater remained - a seemingly young girl named Kojika who appeared extremely injured in her attempts to fight for her own humanity. Out of empathy and a gamble at fate, Vin sacrificed his left eye as a means of saving the girl from the cruel fate of becoming the very thing he came to kill. Albeit successful, his own fate was left at the hands of the other mercenaries and nearby pirates led by the infamous Madam Corvidae.

"You are not a flower from hell."
They say the eyes are the windows to one's soul. In Vin and Kojika's case, they have both taken this phrase literally. When Vin took out his own left eye, he imbued a part of his soul into it and infused it into the remnants of Kojika's soul in an attempt to prevent her from becoming a sin eater. With this successful process made possible by the old magicks of the Omnifarious, both Vin and Kojika are a part of each other in ways that many cannot even begin to comprehend.Initially, whilst Vin's empathy and morals pushed him into saving Kojika, it would be a lie to say he saw no opportunity in his sacrifice. Saving an innocent life aside, he saw her as nothing but a mere extension of himself - temporary, a means to an end, and someone who can simply do his bidding with little to no disadvantages. However, as days turned into months and months turned into years, he could not help but begin to trust the girl. Eventually, his relationship with Kojika flourished as they strengthened the bond between them through consistent mutual trust, perseverance, and effort. As Kojika's TPE Dominant, Vin is responsible for her everything - her physical, mental and spiritual well-being as well as ensuring her entwined soul remains stable and intact. In exchange, he has complete control over her - where he instructs, she delivers.
